This year we are excited to announce several new events to our race! Here is an overview of all our events.
All prices increase $10 on Sunday, October 6.
Distance: 750m open-water swim, 20km bike, and 5km run.
Draft-Legal is a highly competitive race format for experienced triathletes. In comparison to a traditional triathlon, like the Classic Sprint race, there are some major differences. Drafting is allowed in the bike portions. Because of the increased danger from drafting, competitors must have experience riding in packs, and have excellent bike handling skills.
Entry fee: Collegiate - $55. Elite - $90.
Distance: 750m open-water swim, 20km bike, and 5km run.
This is our most beginner friendly and most popular event. Drafting on the bike is not allowed. High schoolers will race with the open division. In the classic sprint relay, teams will divide the three legs of the race among the two or three members in any way they wish.
Entry fee: Collegiate - $55. High School - $55. Open - $90. Relay - $150 per team.
Distance: 250m open-water swim, 5km bike, and 1.2km run.
Bearathlon’s first ever Mixed Team Relay will be a thrilling event that combines individual efforts with team spirit. Each team will consist of 4 individuals (2 female, 2 male) and each team member situs slot will complete a full super sprint triathlon (each member will swim, bike, and run - see distances above) before tagging off to a teammate, in the order female-male-female-male.
Entry fee: $160 per team.
